From the desk of the REGION "E" EDUCATOR,
 
Memo to All District Educators:

We just attended our second Region Rally and were sorry that some of you could not attend. I was honored to present National Awards of Merit to three recipients from Region "E" Larry Brown DE from Missouri, the Peters couple CE from Nebraska and Fred and Toni Ringel CE from Wisconsin. Congratulations to them all, they are very deserving.
The on-bike games were brought back and 31 participants had a great time including our new International Couple of the Year. Quite a few District Educators now know how to set up the games so they should be able to bring these games back to their own Districts for a try.
I again have to thank all who helped me in setting up the games and running the same. North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota your efforts were much appreciated. :)
Please remember that quarterly reports are due to me at the end of the period. In the last year and a half we as a region missed 100% compliance only once and I sincerely hope that this does not happen again.
I have spoken with Mark Zingery and a real effort is now underway to update the handbook and to complete the data entry process. Stay tuned for further developments.
While I will admit, all is not perfect, there is light at the end of the tunnel----------------HANG IN THERE------------
